    Digital Communications Manager

    THE COMPANY:

    Our client is the leading voice on climate change in Australia - providing independent, expert information to the Australian community. They are a fast growing group of people and do everything they can to spread accurate information on climate change and are looking for a Digital Communications Manager to join their growing team!

    THE ROLE:

    Digital communications is at the heart of what they do, breaking down news, research and policy into engaging online content.

    Reporting to the Head of Communications, the main responsibilities include:

    - Writing, designing and producing a broad range of communications including social media posts, major video productions, fundraising emails and web articles
    - Lead content and digital communications strategies
    - Conceive and create social media posts, including graphic design and pithy commentary
    - Write a broad range of copy including scripts, web articles and fundraising emails
    - Produce various videos - this includes concept development, script-writing, asset sourcing, talent sourcing, shoot management and edit supervision
    - Publish reports and online content on the companies website using their custom CMS system
    - Oversee the design and development of new website projects for campaigns and other activities
    - Project manage the delivery of major creative and tech projects with suppliers
    - Manage content calendar, from daily social media posting to major project launches. Editorial responsibility for content mix, in line with organisational strategy
    - Identify opportunities, develop creative and publish in a timely manner
    - Develop distribution partnerships and share content with relevant organisations, publishers and stakeholders
    - Promote content and campaigns through channels such as Facebook advertising
    - Work closely with the fundraising team to generate ideas and implement campaigns
    - Evaluate the effectiveness of the companies digital communications and report back on successes and learnings

    YOU:

    - You will ideally have a minimum of 3 years experience in a digital content production or digital communications role
    - Hands on experience managing social media pages across various platforms and current knowledge of new tech developments and the latest internet trends
    - You will need to have strong knowledge of digital platforms and software and experience running integrated digital campaigns across multiple platforms
    - You will be a creative thinker and the ability to conceptualise engaging videos, graphics and web content. You will also be a talented writer with the ability to craft punchy copy for a range of audiences
