    Corporate Partnerships Executive

    Every year 950 Australian children and adolescents will be diagnosed with cancer and every week nearly three Australian children and adolescents will die of cancer.  Our client's vision is to save the lives of all children with cancer and eliminate their suffering.  They are looking for a Corporate Partnerships Executive to join their busy team!

    THE ROLE:

    The primary responsibility of this role is to raise funds for research into curing childhood cancer from Corporate Partnerships. The main responsibilities include:

    - Support the Corporate Partnerships Manager in the implementation of the strategy to acquire, engage and nurture corporate relationships that offer opportunity for strong income with acceptable ROI
    - Support the management of existing relationships, ensuring contractual obligations are met; partner plans are in place and high quality service standards maintained
    - Guide and support the Corporate Partnerships co-ordinator with workflow to support the development of sales within the corporate team
    - Where possible secure multi-year partnership agreements to build sustainable and predictable income
    - In conjunction with the Corporate Partnerships Manager, research, source, negotiate and secure new sponsorships and cause related marketing agreements that drive profitable income for the institute
    - Structure corporate partnerships to establish multiple contact points including senior management, account managers and grass root champions; encourage relevant personnel to attend lab tours and events to contribute to their understanding of our cause and impact
    - Manage all relevant records on the CRM database to ensure accuracy of coding, reporting, relationship information and Total Partner Value Tracking
    - Contribution to the development of the Corporate Partnerships budget annually in conjunction with the Corporate Partnerships Manager.
    - Support the Events team in development of their strategy for securing sponsorship for signature events and encourage participation of our Corporate Partners in these
    - Identify opportunities where goods and services required can be sourced free of charge to improve performance and profitability
    - Contribute to reporting of the financial performance for this income area on weekly, monthly and quarterly basis. Provide advice of emerging trends and pipeline forecast for future income projections
    - Establish strong relationships with the internal research teams to understand their work
    - Work cohesively with the fundraising, research and marketing teams

    YOU:

    - The ideal candidate will ideally have 4 years+ experience in the Corporate sector and a proven track record of successfully growing profitable business
    - Results driven to achieve income target with an understanding of sales culture and processes
    - Strong relationship skills, ability to make supporters feel valued and appreciated
    - Good at communicating with a wide range of people both through written and verbal communications
    - Experience of proposal and presentation preparation
    - Donor focussed, passionate about dealing with people, strong belief in NFP sector
    - Highly organised with strong business administrative skills, able to prioritise and multi task across several projects simultaneously to meet deadlines and strong project management skills
    - Experience of management of database records (experience in Raisers Edge an advantage) and advanced skills in Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint
