THE COMPANY:

Our client teaches professionals the skills to identify, prevent & de-escalate crises in the workplace.  They are looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager to join their growing team and drive business growth across the education sector & emerging markets.

THE ROLE:

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you'll play a key role in driving new business and renewing existing client relationships. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with the Sales and Marketing teams to meet annual new business and renewal revenue targets.

  • Developing and executing sales and marketing strategies to expand into new sectors.

  • Identifying and engaging with key decision-makers and influencers to understand their training needs and propose tailored solutions.

  • Managing customer orders, pricing, and information, ensuring accurate data entry into the CRM system.

  • Conducting a mix of cold calling, lead follow-ups, and attending trade shows and industry events to generate opportunities.

  • Preparing sales strategies, pricing proposals, and training implementation plans in partnership with the Director of Sales.

  • Maintaining detailed customer records and collaborating with marketing on campaigns that align with sales strategies.

YOU:

The ideal candidate is a proactive, people-oriented professional with at least 2-4 years of experience in selling services or products. You have a proven track record of developing new business and managing existing client relationships.

  • Previous experience in Business Development within similar sectors is essential, with a strong preference for candidates from the education industry.
