This successful creative agency is seeking an experienced Performance Manager (Search) to join their digital team and help shape the strategy and growth of their business.

You work across global FMCG, beverage, automotive brands and will be the key contact for projects and campaigns from brief, through execution to reporting while working into their Head of eCommerce & Digital.

This is a specialist role within the agency. You will work on existing clients while onboarding new clients across their SEM offering. You will be the digital "go to" when it comes to the planning and executing of digital campaigns.
An up to date, hands on, extensive understanding of the platforms is required.

The Performance Manager will work collaboratively with the wider agency team to deliver cohesive strategies to support their client's key objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will be the key agency contact for your clients, responsible for the management of their Search activity.
  • You will lead the following:
    • Google Ads (Search, GDN, Shopping)
    • CitrusAd - Managing their eRetailer search offering (Full training provided)
  • Plus other outputs (e.g. SEO, Spotify, Display, Video etc)
  • You will create and manage a variety of PPC campaigns across a range of digital channels, ensuring best practice implementation and performance.
  • Ensuring tracking is in place through analytics (via GTM/pixels) and providing insightful, data lead reporting for campaigns.
  • You'll manage several campaigns and work with a range of clients and internal stakeholders, giving you lots of variety and insight into different industries.
  • You'll work with data, analysing trends and results, while simultaneously thinking creatively about improvements and strategies to optimise a PPC campaign.
  • Generate end of month reports for your clients to guide their strategy and performance.
  • Writing engaging ad copy for your client accounts
  • Account management for your clients (budgets, estimates, briefing and reports)
  • You will get exposure to search engine optimisation (SEO), social media marketing, digital strategy and digital PR.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree qualification in a relevant or related field of study
  • 2+ years' experience in SEM working for an agency
  • A good understanding of how PPC fits into the wider digital marketing funnel
  • Strong experience using Google Ads, Analytics, Tag Manager and Ads Editor.
  • You have a working knowledge of other digital disciplines including SEO, tracking and attribution through analytics
  • You are up to date with best practices when it comes to setup, management and optimisation of campaigns.
  • Comfortable presenting your work to clients and key stakeholders
  • The ability to lead projects, an eagerness to show off your skill set and to expand your knowledge in different industries.
  • An excel whizz when it comes to pivot tables, V look ups etc
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships at various levels
  • Must be able to work collaboratively with others to deliver a response on client briefs including recommendations based on best practice and insights
  • Experience working in a fast paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft & Apple apps
  • Well organised with great attention to detail and strong time management.
  • A passion for providing data driven insights that help to make a step change in our clients businesses.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage key stakeholders.
