THE COMPANY:
Join an exciting and vibrant travel company dedicated to providing unforgettable experiences to their customers. They're seeking a talented Copywriter & Editorial Manager to join them for a 6 month part-time contract.
THE ROLE:
Reporting to the Senior Brand Manager, the main responsibilities include the following:
Develop global copy, advertising, scripts and content
Localise global marketing assets for Australia and New Zealand and provide project based support
Produce high quality copy and content for brochures, eBrochures, destination guides and website content
Produce copy, proofing and editing for all marketing materials across multiple media channels including stakeholders both internal and external; Including but not limited to DMs, eDMs, advertorials, campaign info, advertising, TVC scripts and videos etc;
Produce and develop copy for global advertising materials, adapting copy style and content to suit the advertising formats and visual narrative. Including but not limited to brand, tactical and advertorial formats for print and digital channels
Source and develop relationships with a network of established travel writers for global content projects
Co-ordinate briefing and assignment of projects with travel writers and manage the submissions, review and editing of materials for multi-channel execution
Produce and develop storyboards and scripts/supers/copy for videos, TVCs and social content formats, working with the video content team
Copywriting and storytelling for global social channels, working with global digital marketing agency
Drive creative idea generation and manage the implementation of key content programs, including developing and writing the story bank for Magazines, eMagazines, e-News and blog content
Receive and interpret briefs from the marketing, sales and product teams
Work closely with the marketing and design teams to produce creative and compelling on-brand campaigns
Research, conceptualise and write original content
Develop brand and product messaging, as well as master guidelines for brand copy and hero copy bank for global marketing programs
YOU:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 to 5 years relevant copywriting, journalism, or content marketing experience with demonstrated success
Experience working for a travel or luxury brand, or in travel journalism is essential
Exceptional writing skills including excellent grammar, proofing and editing skills
Experience in, or exposure to, developing content for digital programs (online, digital marketing, CRM and social)
