Our client is an independent cinema chain that celebrates both arthouse and mainstream cinema. They are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Design and Marketing Assistant with a genuine passion for film and visual storytelling to join their creative team.
  
THE ROLE:
  
This newly created role serves as the link between the creative and wider marketing teams. Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with internal and external teams to conceptualise and deliver visually engaging marketing campaigns, materials, presentations, and digital assets that enhance the brand identity.

  • Designing and producing a wide range of marketing materials across print, digital, and social media platforms.

  • Contributing ideas in marketing brainstorm sessions across campaigns and film titles.

  • Ensuring all marketing activities comply with legal requirements, including permit regulations and copyright laws.

  • Working closely with designers, copywriters, and project managers to ensure creative outputs align with briefs, brand guidelines, and project timelines.

  • Assisting in the implementation of digital marketing campaigns, ensuring timely delivery across email marketing (EDM), website events, and social channels.

  • Acting as a brand guardian, upholding brand values and consistency across all touch points.

  • Managing the final delivery, organisation, and archiving of assets for efficient handover to internal teams or clients.

YOU:
  
The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Marketing or Visual Communications, along with relevant experience in marketing or creative roles, either within an agency, studio, or in-house creative team. Digital marketing experience is highly desirable.
  
You will also bring:

  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.

  • Solid Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Experience with CRM systems and social media management tools.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with a sharp eye for visual design, especially in layout, typography, and colour.
