THE COMPANY:
Our client is an independent cinema chain that celebrates both arthouse and mainstream cinema. They are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Design and Marketing Assistant with a genuine passion for film and visual storytelling to join their creative team.
THE ROLE:
This newly created role serves as the link between the creative and wider marketing teams. Key responsibilities include:
Collaborating with internal and external teams to conceptualise and deliver visually engaging marketing campaigns, materials, presentations, and digital assets that enhance the brand identity.
Designing and producing a wide range of marketing materials across print, digital, and social media platforms.
Contributing ideas in marketing brainstorm sessions across campaigns and film titles.
Ensuring all marketing activities comply with legal requirements, including permit regulations and copyright laws.
Working closely with designers, copywriters, and project managers to ensure creative outputs align with briefs, brand guidelines, and project timelines.
Assisting in the implementation of digital marketing campaigns, ensuring timely delivery across email marketing (EDM), website events, and social channels.
Acting as a brand guardian, upholding brand values and consistency across all touch points.
Managing the final delivery, organisation, and archiving of assets for efficient handover to internal teams or clients.
YOU:
The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Marketing or Visual Communications, along with relevant experience in marketing or creative roles, either within an agency, studio, or in-house creative team. Digital marketing experience is highly desirable.
You will also bring:
Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
Solid Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Experience with CRM systems and social media management tools.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with a sharp eye for visual design, especially in layout, typography, and colour.
